Job Summary: A major automotive dealership is seeking a Service Controller to ensure efficient workshop operations, equitable job distribution, and high-quality repairs. Key Responsibilities: 1. Piecework report generation and job assignment ***A major automotive dealership is currently seeking a Service Controller for its service department*** \*\*MUST RESIDE IN THE SOUTHERN AREA OF MEXICO CITY (CDMX)\*\* ***Requirements:*** * Technical degree * Minimum 1 year of experience at an automotive dealership * Proficiency with technology and interest in automobiles * Advanced Excel skills and ERP system experience * Customer service orientation ***Knowledge:*** * Basic mechanics * Data interpretation * Team management * Quality process knowledge * Process improvement ***Competencies:*** * Emotional intelligence and empathy * In-depth product knowledge * Quality orientation * Orientation toward internal and external customer service ***Main Responsibilities:*** * Regulate all workshop operations through proper use of the internal system and equitably and professionally assign work to technicians based on their training level and experience, ensuring no workload overload occurs and that jobs are performed by qualified personnel matching each job’s complexity. * Report daily repair status to the Service Manager to measure utilization of the workshop’s installed capacity. * Identify technical team training needs and communicate them to the Service Manager to ensure all technicians possess the necessary knowledge to perform their duties with optimal quality. * Generate piecework reports for technician payroll to ensure balance between work performed and technician compensation. * Assign and reassign jobs to technicians based on certifications officially recognized by the service workshop, ensuring jobs are properly completed correctly the first time.
