Job Summary: We are seeking an ophthalmologist to conduct consultations, diagnose pathologies, prescribe medications, and perform ocular procedures and surgeries. Key Responsibilities: 1. Diagnosis and treatment of complex ocular pathologies 2. Performance of ocular surgeries and minor procedures 3. Interpretation of advanced ophthalmological studies We are looking for an ophthalmologist to join our team at Fundación Doctor Hernández Zurita. Responsibilities: • Provide general ophthalmology consultations or, as applicable, subspecialty consultations. • Identify and diagnose pathologies such as cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and other conditions within the specialty. • Prescribe medications according to the patient’s visual condition. • Perform PFC laser and YAG laser procedures. • Perform ocular surgeries and minor procedures to correct vision problems and treat diseases. • Administer intravitreal and anti-VEGF injections. • Perform and interpret studies such as: macular OCT, optic nerve OCT, IOL calculation, perimetry, corneal topography, etc.-Requirements- Minimum education: Higher education – Specialty Less than 1 year of experience Knowledge: Decision-making, Care for elderly patients, Medical care, Visual health Willingness to travel: Yes Willingness to relocate: Yes
