Combining a deep systems knowledge to develop unique vehicle access experiences, intelligent visions systems and advanced automotive lighting technologies, MML's expertise light the path to innovation, safety and styling.**Job Responsibilities:** **Job Objective** Responsible for covering a production shift, capable of identifying and resolving any failures occurring in process and support equipment—such as compressors, water treatment systems, power outages, forklifts—requesting support when necessary, and possessing the ability to deliver rapid solutions to failures in order to minimize production interruption, while complying with safety regulations and working under pressure. **Main Responsibilities** * Maintain process equipment operating at 100% during the shift. * Demonstrate problem-solving ability for issues arising during the shift. * Provide support to other internal customers during the shift. * Perform scheduled preventive and predictive maintenance. * Maintain adequate stock of equipment and support materials to enable prompt failure resolution. * Make decisions regarding equipment shutdown due to failure when necessary. * Maintain tools in good condition and apply 5S in the maintenance workshop. **Education and Experience** * Technical degree in mechanics, electricity, machinery and tools, refrigeration, electronics, mechatronics or equivalent. * 1 year of experience in similar or related maintenance roles. **Required Competencies** * Ability to interpret electrical and control diagrams. * Advanced knowledge of electricity, hydraulics, pneumatics, electronics and control systems. * Knowledge of electric and oxyacetylene welding. * Proficiency in using workshop tools. **Awareness, Unity, Empowerment:** ---------------------------------- At Magna, we believe that a diverse workforce is critical to our success.
