This role leverages a more advanced skill set and proprietary institutional knowledge to assume responsibility for support delivery, second-level diagnosis, communication, escalation, tracking, and resolution of more complex, multi-layered IT issues. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Develops expertise in technical support solutions and learns to identify less common issues on desktops, laptops, and networked systems. * Responds to IT support calls and tickets. * Ensures proper resolution of installation, software, hardware, operating system, and configuration issues. * Provides second-level escalation support for complex, multi-layered issues. * Investigates, documents, and resolves advanced issues. * Participates in special IT projects. * Investigates, documents, and supports onboarding, asset management, and NOC (Network Operations Center) processes. * Performs other assigned duties. **EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:** * Bachelor’s degree required with three (3) to five (5) years of related experience. **KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:** * Proven ability to serve as primary and second-level contact across a broad range of IT support incidents. * Ability to rapidly absorb, understand, apply, document, and communicate new technical concepts. * Adaptability to new challenges, identifying and evaluating potential impacts and prioritizing accordingly. * Ability to productively recognize, analyze, and question established processes and methods, along with willingness to collaborate with leadership in seeking alternatives when necessary. * Willingness to identify and generate learning opportunities for oneself and the team, expanding and diversifying knowledge of existing or emerging tools, technologies, and processes that deliver measurable value. * Experience with Cisco and Fortinet network equipment and operations, as well as tools and technologies such as NetBox, PRTG, PuTTY, CUCX, CUCCX, RDP, VoIP, ServiceNow, asset management, ISE, iBoss, Active Directory, AnyConnect, PsExec, PowerShell, SharePoint, printer administration, Access, Excel, SCCM, AV technology, Windows, iOS, Android, MDM, and Kronos operating systems is a plus. **PHYSICAL DEMANDS:** * Ability to perform on-site work, including physical activities related to implementation, support, and repair of computing equipment, peripherals, hardware, audiovisual systems, communications, and automation.
