Database and workflow optimization Job Description: We are a real estate and construction company located in Lomas de Angelópolis, Puebla, seeking a FileMaker developer with experience in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise solutions based on FileMaker Pro and FileMaker Server. The ideal candidate will possess both technical and analytical skills to understand business needs and translate them into functional, scalable, and user-friendly systems. This position requires solid knowledge of FileMaker scripting, relational database modeling, and preferably experience integrating with APIs or external systems. Responsibilities: * Design, develop, and maintain custom applications in FileMaker Pro. * Analyze business requirements and translate them into practical FileMaker solutions. * Optimize database and workflow performance. * Create intuitive, user-experience-focused interfaces. * Develop complex scripts to automate internal processes. * Conduct testing, debugging, and technical documentation of developed systems. * Manage installation, configuration, and maintenance of FileMaker Server. * Integrate FileMaker with other systems via REST APIs, ODBC, or XML. * Provide technical support and basic training to internal users. Requirements: * Proven experience developing with FileMaker Pro (minimum 2 years). * Solid knowledge of relational database design. * Ability to write advanced scripts and use calculation functions. * Knowledge of FileMaker Server security and administration (desirable). * Desirable: experience integrating with other platforms (APIs, SQL, JSON, etc.). * Desirable: Claris FileMaker certification (not mandatory, but valued). * Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team. * Strong communication skills to interact effectively with non-technical users.
