




* Meet the KPIs established within the department for implementing best practices and evaluating performance. * Conduct periodic inspections and diagnose the extent of mechanical defects in units to determine subsequent repairs, either on-site or at an external workshop. * Inspect vehicle onboard computers and electronic systems for repair, maintenance, and updates. * Perform routine maintenance tasks (oil changes, coolant adjustments, brake fluid replacement, component lubrication, etc.) to ensure unit functionality and longevity. * Schedule future maintenance sessions and provide driver training on proper unit usage. * Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning parts and resolve issues (e.g., leaks, engine problems, fuel pumps, wheel balancing, alignment). * Provide accurate estimates (cost, time, effort) for repair or maintenance work. * Maintain up-to-date databases and records regarding work performed, repairs, maintenance, inspections, replaced parts, and emerging unit issues. * Report completed and pending tasks to the immediate supervisor, maintaining an activity schedule to ensure effective unit maintenance control. * Travel to various locations across the city to perform emergency repairs on units or as circumstances require.
