Managing preventive maintenance programs Assistant Maintenance Manager **Assistant Maintenance Manager** --------------------------------- **All\-Inclusive Hotel – 735 Rooms** **Job Purpose:** The Assistant Maintenance Manager is responsible for supervising and coordinating maintenance activities to ensure optimal operation of all hotel facilities, delivering an exceptional Guest and Member experience while ensuring compliance with safety standards and legal requirements. ### **What will I be doing?** As the Assistant Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring maintenance work is carried out promptly and to the highest standards. You will also ensure compliance with all statutory and legal requirements during repairs and operations. Specifically, you will be responsible for: * **Supervising and coordinating the maintenance team**, assigning tasks and ensuring staff performance across all hotel areas. * **Implementing and enforcing statutory and legal requirements**, including fire safety, health and safety, hygiene, electrical safety, and all applicable local regulations. * **Responding to and managing maintenance requests**, ensuring prompt and efficient resolution of all guest and internal department needs. * **Overseeing and executing repair and maintenance work**, ensuring proper use of PPE and adherence to quality standards. * **Managing preventive maintenance programs**, ensuring planned maintenance schedules are completed to prevent breakdowns and optimize facility performance. * **Overseeing maintenance of green areas, parking lots, and common areas**, when applicable, maintaining high standards of presentation and functionality. * **Coordinating with external contractors**, ensuring work is completed to quality standards, within timelines, and under safety protocols. * **Implementing energy conservation initiatives**, identifying opportunities for efficiency and cost savings. * **Ensuring compliance with C.O.S.H.H regulations**, particularly in the storage and handling of hazardous substances. * **Maintaining strong relationships with internal and external customers**, ensuring clear communication and collaboration across departments. * **Attending additional training as required**, developing skills and knowledge relevant to the role. **What are we looking for?** A Maintenance Assistant serving Hilton brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members.
