**About the Role** We are looking for a motivated **Junior Painting Estimator** to join our team. This is an entry\-level position—**no prior estimating experience is required**, as we will provide full training. The ideal candidate is detail\-oriented, comfortable working with numbers, and able to think logically and problem\-solve. **Responsibilities** * Assist in preparing estimates for commercial and industrial painting projects. * Read and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and project documents. * Perform quantity take\-offs and help calculate material and labor needs. * Maintain organized project files and documentation. * Communicate with team members to clarify project details as needed. * Support senior estimators with day\-to\-day tasks during training. **Requirements** * **English proficiency** (spoken and written). * **Ability to read and understand architectural plans** (basic level is acceptable). * Strong logical thinking and problem\-solving skills. * Good attention to detail and accuracy with numbers. * Basic computer skills (Excel, PDF markup tools, email). * Willingness to learn and follow established estimating processes. * Reliable, proactive, and able to manage time effectively. **Nice to Have (Not Required)** * Experience in construction, architecture, engineering, or related fields. * Familiarity with takeoff software or project management tools. **What We Offer** * Full hands\-on training in painting estimating. * Opportunities for growth and promotion within the company. * Supportive team environment and continuous learning. * Competitive pay based on experience and performance.
