Monitor and safeguard store furniture, equipment, and merchandise by overseeing facilities as well as controlling refrigeration units, freezers, power plants, and other systems. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: \*Safeguard store machinery, equipment, tools, and facilities. \*Monitor and track operational status or levels of refrigeration units, freezers, pumps, and power plants. \*Supervise the proper performance of night-shift employees. DAILY ACTIVITIES: \*Conduct a walkthrough of the entire store with the Department Head at store closing. \*Complete the logbook with information regarding walkthroughs, incidents, or events observed during the shift. \*Perform reconnaissance rounds to inspect the store’s condition and report findings (typically warehouse, store entrances, and shrinkage areas). \*Verify that keys, radios, or any pending items have been handed over to the Area Supervisor. \*Conduct inspections to verify the status of water pumps, power plants, and overall store conditions, reporting any anomalies. \*Inspect access points and refrigeration units; confirm that air conditioning units are turned off. \*Ensure night-shift personnel perform their duties properly. \*Confirm that parking booths are securely closed with chains in place and shopping carts are chained at store closing.
