*This job posting originates from the Talenteca.com job board* ### **Job Opening at PRIDA SERVICIOS CORPORATIVOS in Galeras \- Colón, Querétaro** **Customs Classifier / Tariff Classifier** **Position Objective:** Ensure legal and tax compliance of foreign trade operations by correctly determining the tariff classification and identifying applicable regulations for goods. **Key Responsibilities:** * Determine the correct tariff classification for goods (imports and exports) in accordance with the General Import and Export Tax Law (LIGIE), the Harmonized System, and NICO. * Analyze technical descriptions (merchandise classification) to justify tariff classification decisions. * Identify, assess, and apply Non-Tariff Regulations and Restrictions (RRNA), Official Mexican Standards (NOMs), permits, and applicable duties. * Provide technical advisory services and support to internal and external clients on classification and customs regulatory matters. * Maintain and update the database of tariff classifications. * Review customs entry forms (pedimentos) and assist during customs inspections to ensure proper operations. **Essential Requirements:** * **Education:** Completed Bachelor’s degree or Engineering degree in International Trade, International Business, or related field. * **Experience:** Minimum 2–3 years as a Customs/Tariff Classifier. * **Expert Knowledge of:** * General Import and Export Tax Law (LIGIE) and its complementary rules. * Customs Law, Foreign Trade Law, and their respective regulations. * General Rules of Foreign Trade and their annexes. * Merchandise classification (Merceología), NICO, and customs systems. **We Offer:** * GROSS MONTHLY SALARY OF $18,000 TO $19,000.00 * STATUTORY BENEFITS AND BENEFITS EXCEEDING LEGAL REQUIREMENTS * Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM * EL COLÓN, QUERÉTARO **If you are an expert in classification and regulatory compliance, we’re looking for you!** **Desired Education Level:** Higher Education \- Degree holder **Desired Experience Level:** Expert Level **Departmental Function:** Logistics / Transportation **Industry:** International Trade and Development **Skills:** * customs * classification * tariffs *This job posting originates from the Talenteca.com job board:* *https://www.talenteca.com/anuncio?j\_id\=6945e1dc3f00003f00552740\&source\=indeed*
