Position available: Quality Manager Responsibilities: \* Establish daily work plans considering shipping priorities and verifying progress of placements in the “inventory portal system.” \* Make adjustments and/or negotiate fruit quality issues with the board of directors, plant director, and production manager as appropriate. \* In case fruit is being packed in mesh bags, ensure it complies with established guidelines for that area. \* Monitor progress for shipments (manifests and departure schedules). \* Verify that fruit quality sampling is conducted in the fruit reception area. Requirements: \* Degree in Food Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related fields. \* Knowledge of avocado damage and pests, quality standards. \* Sizing standards for different countries (Mexico, Japan, USA, Canada, and Europe) and customer weight requirements. \* Leadership, organization, methodical approach, analytical skills, proactivity, decision-making, ability to work under pressure, teamwork, communication skills, and emotional intelligence.
