Quality and Safety Manager

A well-recognized company in the agro-industrial sector, committed to excellence and employee well-being. Currently, we are seeking a **QUALITY AND SAFETY MANAGER** based in Irapuato. Objective: Responsible for supervising, coordinating, optimizing, and managing the food safety area, as well as ensuring strict compliance with food safety systems and policies, to guarantee the proper implementation of the Contamination Risk Reduction System, along with all required quality systems for obtained certifications. **Job Responsibilities** * Responsible for implementing and maintaining the PrimusGFS, SRRC, and Global GAP systems. * Conduct internal audits of the quality and food safety system and coordinate follow-up on corrective and preventive actions for audited items, applying technical knowledge of processes and products. * Establish quality and food safety policies according to customer requirements, official regulations, and necessary certifications. * Coordinate departmental efforts and resources to resolve deficiencies and non-conformities identified during internal and external quality system audits. * Act as a trainer to ensure understanding and interpretation of quality and food safety standards; additionally, provide advisory and guidance on these topics to staff upon request. * Verify and validate that quality and food safety criteria for inputs and raw materials meet customer requirements. Investigate, document, and propose new techniques, procedures, and quality and food safety criteria for products. * Monitor applications carried out at production sites. Ensure compliance with authorized specifications for products. Release products for export. **Job Requirements** Minimum education required: Bachelor's degree in Food Industries, Industrial Chemistry, or related field.
