Ensures daily maintenance and effective operation of company vehicles. Provides maintenance for FedEx's vehicle fleet and ground support equipment requiring preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, modifications, and documentation in a timely and high-quality manner. **Position Overview:** Perform preventive maintenance, repair, and modification operations and tasks on the vehicle fleet and ground support equipment. * Diagnose and resolve issues in vehicles and ground support equipment. * Identify the source of failures, disassemble equipment, and perform necessary repairs. * Make required adjustments to machinery to ensure safe and efficient operation. * Complete all required documentation for each assignment. * Maintain a clean and safe work area according to corporate standards. * Provide assistance, guidance, and direction to technicians and trainee technicians as needed. * Take primary responsibility for executing project work. * Ensure maintenance-related materials are maintained at approved inventory levels. * Interact with customers and suppliers regarding vehicle and ground support equipment repairs. **Requirements:** **Education** * High school diploma or equivalent. **Experience:** Six (6) years in fleet maintenance, automotive vehicles, heavy equipment, or trucks with gasoline, electric, and diesel engines, along with applicable licenses and technical training. * Knowledge of the use and operation of all types of automotive equipment, test instruments, gauges, and tools commonly used in diagnosing and repairing industrial hydraulic systems, gasoline, electric, and diesel engines. * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision for extended periods. **Required Skills:** * Knowledge of the use and operation of all motorized equipment and testing equipment, gauges, and tools typically associated with troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic, gasoline, electric, and diesel equipment. * Must be able to lift and maneuver heavy industrial vehicle components. * Strong attention to detail * Planning and organizational skills * Teamwork skills If you are interested in applying, please upload a single PDF file containing the following documents: 1.
