Budget Control Resident

**OPENING: BUDGET CONTROL RESIDENT** ---------------------------------------------- ### **POSITION OBJECTIVE** The **Budget Control Resident** is responsible for **ensuring the control and management of financial resources** allocated to construction projects. Their primary function is to **verify, validate, and manage in real time all transactions related to payments, contracts, and estimates**, ensuring that executed works correspond to what has been authorized, avoiding duplications, overestimations, and quantification errors. Additionally, they maintain a **constant presence at the construction site**, providing follow-up and addressing operational needs, strengthening communication between the site and the budget management team. ### **MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES** * Directly supervise **contracted work sections and fronts**, prioritizing requests and promoting communication between site operations and budgeting. * **Create and manage work orders, supply orders, and schedules** in the Enkontrol system, ensuring that information is accurate, complete, and consistent with approved budgets. * **Validate construction estimates**, ensuring reported data matches physical progress and photographic records. * Generate and authorize **purchase orders** and **payment requests** according to internal policies and financial control criteria. * Conduct on-site inspections to verify that estimates correspond to actual work performed; in case of irregularities, issue reports or factual statements. * Apply **charges to contractors** when applicable, recording them in the system and notifying the accounting department. * Follow up on **contract modification agreements**, reflecting changes in the system. * Maintain an updated **contractor registry** and securely store their documentation with confidentiality. * **Record progress and request status** in collaborative platforms such as **Monday** and **Dropbox**. * Carry out site visits and walkthroughs to verify progress, quality, and contract compliance. ### **REQUIREMENTS** * **Education:** Bachelor's degree in **Architecture** or **Civil Engineering required.** * **Experience:** **1 year in construction or budget control**. ### **Technical Skills:** * Enkontrol (orders, estimates, amortizations) * AutoCAD, Revit, OPUS, SketchUp * Microsoft Office * Collaborative platforms (Monday, Dropbox) * Knowledge of **contracts, estimates, and construction budgets** * **Valid driver's license (desirable).** ### **SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES** **Technical:** * Budget control and estimate review. * Unit price analysis and technical reporting. * Preparation of contracts and modification agreements. * Proficiency in digital management and tracking tools. ### **Why join our team?** We are looking for professionals passionate about **control and efficiency in construction**, who enjoy technical work, precision, and continuous improvement.
