




**Job Objective:** Ensure proper lubrication of plant equipment and machinery to guarantee optimal operation, minimize contamination risks, and comply with quality and food safety standards. **Required Specific Knowledge:** · Types of lubricants and their applications in the food industry. · Physicochemical properties of lubricants. · Safety and hygiene regulations in the food industry. · Lubricant application techniques (manual, automated, mist, centralized, etc.). · Safe storage, handling, and disposal of lubricants and waste. · Development and monitoring of lubrication routes. · Interpretation of safety data sheets (SDS). · Preventive and corrective maintenance procedures. **Main Responsibilities:** · Perform periodic lubrication of equipment and machinery according to the established schedule. · Identify and select appropriate lubricants compatible with food-grade requirements. · Verify lubricant condition and correct application on each piece of equipment. · Maintain detailed records of performed lubrication activities. · Inspect lubrication systems to prevent failures or excessive wear. · Develop and maintain lubrication routes, ensuring compliance and continuous updates. · Support identification and resolution of mechanical maintenance-related issues. · Comply with hygiene, safety, and quality regulations required in food plants. · Participate in training and programs related to maintenance and good practices.
