In this role, the operator will ensure adherence to material handling and storage procedures to comply with all safety policies and regulatory requirements. **Key Responsibilities:** \- Perform tasks associated with loading, unloading, and storing packaged goods and/or flour, ensuring and promoting high standards of industrial safety. \- Operate high-lift material handling equipment, such as forklifts or other powered industrial trucks (PITs), to load and unload from pallets and shelving. \- Responsible for moving products from production areas, loading/unloading materials, and storing products in flour and/or packaging areas using counterbalanced forklifts, walkie forklifts, push-pull units, as well as recording, assigning, and physically and systemically locating products according to the distribution or loading schedule specified by the Warehouse Supervisor. \- Understand and comply with all safety policies and procedures, including lockout/tagout procedures, and maintain a safe and clean work environment. **Minimum Qualifications:** \- Must be at least 18 years of age. \- High school diploma or higher. \- Experience using a computer. \- Ability to perform physical tasks—including bending, climbing stairs, kneeling, stooping, or twisting—safely, with or without reasonable accommodation. \- Ability to lift up to 20 kilograms, with or without reasonable accommodation. \- Ability to work in varied environments where noise, dust, chemicals, and other hazards may be present, using appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). \- Ability to work overtime, including weekends, holidays, or alternate shifts, with prior notice. \- Ability to operate industrial machinery or equipment, with or without reasonable accommodation. \- DC-3 certification to operate forklifts. \- Minimum of 6 months of experience working in a production or plant environment. \- Ability to work in elevated areas (1.20 meters or higher). **Preferred Qualifications:** \- Practical knowledge of Microsoft Office software, such as Excel and Word. \- Prior experience with inventory management systems. **At Cargill, we champion diversity, equity, and inclusion in all our processes!** Position Type: Full-time, Indefinite-term Salary: $9,982.69 per month Benefits: * Savings fund * Major medical expense insurance * Discounted cafeteria service * Additional vacation days or paid leave * Grocery vouchers Application Question(s): * Do you hold a forklift license or DC-3 certification?
