**Del Monte is seeking a MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN.** **Area Objective.** Support preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance of packaging machinery and equipment, as well as repair of machinery and equipment requiring such service. **Activities:** o Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on packaging machinery and equipment according to the annual maintenance program. o Conduct daily inspections to verify proper condition of machinery. o Install packaging machinery and equipment. o Prepare the daily report of activities performed during the shift. o Review and complete work orders. o Submit a monthly report of tools under your responsibility. o Comply with guidelines corresponding to the food safety program. o Perform your job adhering to the Code of Conduct and Ethics Policy, as well as complying with guidelines established in the company’s internal regulations. o Keep your work area organized and clean. 12\.\- Specific Activities: o Support scheduling maintenance for each machine. o Request required spare parts from your immediate supervisor for each piece of equipment to maintain stock availability in case of failure. o Suggest improvements to facilities and machinery. o Maintain a daily report of activities performed during the work shift. o Suggest improvements to eliminate corrective maintenance. o Perform service maneuvers on forklifts to support required services. o Report incidents occurring during the day. o Support installation of machinery and equipment. o Participate in training for maintenance personnel and personnel from other areas operating machinery. 12\.1\.\- Occasional Activities Perform painting tasks.
