**What you’ll do:** ------------------- **Basic function:** Controls and ensures manufacturing products with quality, aligned with Eaton Quality Management System and Customer Requirements **Main responsibilities and authority:** * Leads line rejects analysis to improve FTQ, Scrap and PPM, follow up actions using A3 Problem solving as a main tool. * Provides the interface between the organization and their customers: * Proactive communication and support with critical customers. * Customer Portal Monitor and actions needed execution on a weekly basis. * Coordinate containment and corrective actions, also quality alerts. * Customer visits coordination and follow up actions. * Maintain Process documentation updated with engineering changes, using process and product audits as a daily tool, having the following inputs: * LPA, Internal, FEA, External and QFC Audits. * Product and Process Audit follow up and management. * Reverse poke yoke audits and Special Characteristics revision. * Maintain Core Documents updated accordingly based on changes performed. * Provides Monitoring of the correct performance of measuring systems. * Teams up with SQE in the follow up of supplier problems, Keep MRB/Hold at minimum. * To lead TCP Quality Hold area material disposition and minutes meeting follow up in a daily basis to get desired results. * Responsible to define material shipment in compliance with deviation/bypass process when applies, working together with product engineering as required. * Support Plant initiatives (RIE, Cost Out, TVSM, etc.). * Functional and CI competencies completion based on training stablished. **Qualifications:** ------------------- **Education level required:** * Mechanical, Electrical and Industrial Engineering **Years and area of experience required:** * Minimum 3 years as QA Engineer **Technical competencies:** * English 90% Written \& Verbal Skills * Problem Solving Skills (8D, A3, 5 whys, Fishbone, Pareto etc.) * Six Sigma / Shainin certification desired * ASQ CQE Certification desired * Automotive Industry Background ISO 9000 – IATF 16949 Knowledge * Internal Auditor certificate desired * Advanced Inspection \& Testing * GD\&T \& MSA knowledge * Automotive Core Tools knowledge (PPAP, APQP, PCP, SPC, PFMEA) **Skills:** ----------- **Soft skills:** * Communication and Negotiation Skills * Gets Results, Thinks, and acts strategically, Passionate, Accountable, Efficient * Training \& Functional competencies according EQMS Quality Training Policy (Internal). **Additional Information:** --------------------------- **ENVIRONMENTAL SYSTEM RESPONSABILITY** * Separate dangerous residues from the normal trash * Place the dangerous residues (gloves, cloths, etc.) in the assigned containers. * Maintain area clean and free of contaminants. * Not waste of water or electricity. * Report any activity that can put in risk my safety and environment. * Identify and give adequate disposition to all chemical products, which can contaminate the environment. * Acting immediately in chemists’ discharge case. * Ensure the rights containers for disposition of dangerous residues (identifying containers and containers to prevent discharge) **ENSURING THE QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM RESPONSIBILITY** * Ensuring the integration of the quality management system requirements into the organization's business processes. * Ensuring that the quality management system achieves its intended results. * Promoting the use of the process approach and risk\-based thinking. * Ensuring that the resources needed for the quality management system are available. * Communicating the importance or effective quality management and of conforming to the quality management system requirements * Engaging, directing, and supporting persons to contribute to the effectiveness of the quality management system. * Promoting improvement. * Supporting other relevant management roles to demonstrate their leadership as it applies to their areas of responsibility. * Support and participate in the Fresh Eyes Audit, ISO IATF/ EQMS Policies/ Group Procedures/ Local Procedures, etc.
