Identification and correction of defects in knitted fabrics **Job Description:** We are seeking a Textile Engineer with experience in circular knitting machines to join our production team. The candidate will be responsible for optimizing knitting processes, ensuring product quality, and maximizing operational efficiency in the plant. **Responsibilities:** * Operation and adjustment of circular knitting machines. * Development and optimization of knitting structures. * Monitoring of production parameters (density, tension, speed). * Identification and correction of defects in knitted fabrics. * Coordination with quality, maintenance, and production departments. * Implementation of improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste. * Supervision of operational staff. **Requirements:** * Degree in Textile Engineering or related field. * Minimum 2–3 years of experience in knitted fabric production. * Knowledge of machinery (e.g., circular and flat knitting machines). * Familiarity with fibers, yarns, and textile finishing processes. * Analytical ability and problem-solving skills. * Ability to work under pressure. **Knowledge in:** * Properties of **textile fibers** (cotton, polyester, etc.). * Fabric quality control: defect detection (streaking, holes, density variations). * Yarn consumption calculation and production yield. * Textile finishing processes (washing, dyeing, etc.). * Interpretation of technical data sheets and product specifications. * Quality standards and textile industry norms.
