**Job Description: Staff Supervisor – Sandal and Sneaker Factory** **Job Identification** * **Position:** Staff Supervisor * **Area:** Production / Manufacturing * **Department:** Operations * **Reports to:** Plant Manager * **Supervises:** Operators, assistants, line technicians, packaging staff, and maintenance personnel assigned to the shift **Job Objective** Ensure compliance with production schedules, guaranteeing quality, efficiency, and safety in the manufacturing processes of sandals and sneakers. Supervise, coordinate, and motivate operational staff to achieve established standards of productivity, quality, and work discipline. **Main Responsibilities** * **Operational Supervision** * Coordinate and control daily activities of production personnel. * Verify achievement of production targets, cycle times, and quality standards. * Ensure proper use of machinery, materials, and tools. * **Personnel Management** * Assign tasks based on process needs and individual capabilities. * Monitor attendance, punctuality, and employee discipline. * Train and guide new operators on procedures and safety regulations. * Foster a positive, communicative, and collaborative work environment. * **Quality Control** * Supervise that sandals and sneakers meet design, material, and finish specifications. * Report and correct deviations in production processes. * **Safety and Hygiene** * Ensure compliance with industrial safety regulations and the use of personal protective equipment. * Identify and report unsafe conditions or equipment failures. * **Reporting and Administration** * Prepare daily reports on production, incidents, and staff performance. * Participate in production meetings and propose process improvements. **Job Requirements** * **Education:** Technical high school diploma or technical degree in Industrial Processes, Mechanics, Production, or related field. * **Experience:** Minimum 2 years supervising personnel in footwear, plastics, textile, or similar manufacturing plants. * **Knowledge:** * Molding, gluing, assembling, and packaging processes of footwear. * Quality control and management of production indicators. * Personnel management and conflict resolution. * Industrial safety and hygiene. * **Skills:** * Leadership and effective communication. * Ability to work under pressure. * Work planning and organization. * Results-oriented. **Job Conditions** * **Schedule:** Rotating or fixed shifts according to operations. * **Environment:** Production plant (moderate noise, heat, operating machinery). \* **Performance Indicators** * Achievement of production targets. * Waste or rejected product percentage. * Attendance and turnover rate of supervised personnel. * Compliance with safety regulations. * Staff satisfaction level and work climate.
