Development of a contact network with medical institutions **Job Description** ------------------------- Assist in the worker care process and provide urgent medical care and first aid, while consistently promoting a harmonious and safe working environment. **Main Responsibilities** --------------------------------- Responsibilities / Functions (illustrative, not exhaustive) * Understand and comply with the Integrated Management System Policy, as well as achieve CEMEX objectives (Quality, Environment, Safety, and Health). * Promote CEMEX’s Mission, Vision, and Values, leading by example and engaging personnel. * Ensure training for personnel under supervision, facilitating access to information and training, and certifying such training. * Ensure the physical integrity of both direct and indirect personnel under supervision, as well as facility integrity, while respecting the environment and neighboring communities. * Provide urgent medical care to workers. * Administer first aid to stabilize patients and report to the plant physician; transfer patients to a medical unit if necessary. * Support the measurement and recording of vital signs for workers attending medical services and prior to commencing high-risk work. * Maintain daily activity logs and support implementation of established safety and health programs and campaigns. * Deliver emergency brigade training. * Inspect and verify fire hydrants and fire extinguishers at the plant. * Comply with procedures outlined in the Integrated Management System (IMS) Operational Procedures, Work Instructions, and Specific Task Descriptions included in the Job Profile and other assigned tasks. This includes: reporting all incidents and near-misses; stopping and warning personnel engaged in risky activities; participating in training events (toolbox talks, training sessions, campaigns, etc.); managing elimination of risk conditions within one’s area. * Responsible for verifying that direct and indirect personnel under supervision work under appropriate safety and health conditions, and ensuring they possess appropriate tools to perform their activities safely.
