Position Summary: We are seeking a proactive and organized Safety and Hygiene Assistant to support the implementation and monitoring of safety programs, enroll personnel in courses, and deliver inductions. Key Responsibilities: 1. Support in monitoring and supervising safety and hygiene programs 2. Enrollment in safety courses and delivery of inductions 3. We have a new job opportunity for you at our corporate office as a **Safety and Hygiene Assistant**, responsible for the following **activities**: * Support monitoring the annual safety and hygiene program for each work center. * Enroll staff in the appropriate safety and hygiene (SH) courses according to their job responsibilities across the group’s various agencies. * Support supervision and scheduling of activities for the SH committee. * Inspections: schedule and conduct periodic, standardized inspections with members of the safety & hygiene committees to identify unsafe conditions and required maintenance in areas, buildings, machinery, etc., at each work center. * Support updating various licenses for the department. * Assist in developing processes and programs. * Deliver induction courses. **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree or Engineering degree * Knowledge of safety and hygiene, accident investigation, and risk analysis. * Experience preparing reports * Proactive * Organized Employment type: Full-time Salary: $16,900.00 - $16,995.00 per month Benefits: * Savings fund * Employee discount * Discounts and preferential pricing * Maternity leave exceeding statutory requirements * Paternity leave exceeding statutory requirements * Sick leave * Company parking * Free parking * Employee referral program * Medical expense insurance * Grocery vouchers Work location: On-site employment
