Whether it’s handling operational tasks, responding to guest requests, completing reports, sharing information about local attractions, or assisting guests with loading/unloading their vehicles and transporting luggage to and from rooms and/or the designated bell stand area, the Guest Experience Expert ensures transactions feel like a positive part of the experience. Regardless of your position, there are a number of fundamentals that support success—creating a safe work environment, following company policies and procedures, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring your uniform, personal appearance, and communication are always professional. The Guest Experience Expert will always be on the move (standing, sitting, walking for extended periods, navigating narrow, confined, or elevated spaces, as well as ascending or descending service stairs and/or ramps); actively participating (must be able to move, lift, push, pull, and place objects unassisted up to 50 pounds and up to 100 pounds with assistance; reach above and below knees, bend, twist, stretch, and crouch). Performing all tasks in the best possible way (and other reasonable tasks as requested) is critical—Guest Experience Experts must consistently do things right for both guests and the business.
