Position Summary: We are seeking an Accounting Analyst to provide operational and administrative support, ensuring accurate financial recording and tax compliance for business decision-making. Participation in the preparation of informational tax filings Accounting Analyst Location: Puerto Morelos, Quintana Roo Salary: $15,000 to $18,000 gross monthly, based on experience Job Description: A real estate and construction company is seeking an Accounting Analyst to provide operational and administrative support to the accounting department, ensuring accurate financial data recording, tax compliance, and timely account reconciliation—contributing to sound business decision-making. Main Responsibilities: Recording and control of accounting journal entries (revenues, expenses, and general entries). Preparation and review of bank reconciliations. Compilation and control of accounting and tax working papers. Support in calculating federal and local taxes. Account reconciliation and cleanup. Data entry and financial information analysis in accounting systems. Support in monthly closings and preparation of information for audits. Execution of administrative tasks related to the accounting department. Document tracking and control in accordance with internal policies. Preparation of informational tax filings: DIOT, Electronic Accounting, SIROC, and IMSS. Requirements: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (degree conferred). Experience: 2–3 years as an Accounting Analyst, preferably in real estate and construction sectors. Residence in Puerto Morelos preferred. Required Knowledge: Accounting recording and bank reconciliations. Basic tax calculation. Account reconciliation and cleanup. Intermediate-level Excel proficiency and working paper preparation. Experience with accounting systems Enkontrol and CONTPAQi. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. Competencies: Numerical aptitude. Organization and attention to detail. Teamwork and effective communication. Results orientation and continuous improvement. Working Conditions: Schedule: Monday to Friday: 8:30 AM – 6:30 PM (lunch break from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM) Saturday: 8:30 AM – 1:00 PM Gross monthly salary: $15,000 to $18,000. Pay period: Biweekly.
