Process all types of payments including room charges and payments made in cash, by check, or debit/credit card. Process adjustment vouchers, disbursements, amendment vouchers, and miscellaneous charges. Print emergency contact lists to maintain a record of all guests in case of an emergency. Sell a room or accommodation to walk-in guests based on availability. Operate the telephone switchboard, process wake-up call requests, and inform guests of any messages received. Complete the "Room Rate Variance Report." Process all guest check-in records and assign rooms. Activate or issue new room keys using the electronic key machine. Count cash at the end of the shift; secure the cash drawer. Balance and turn in receipts according to Accounting specifications. Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to management. Comply with all company policies and procedures, ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect the company's assets. Greet and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address their service needs; thank them sincerely; assist people with disabilities. Communicate with others using clear and professional language; answer telephones using proper etiquette. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support team to achieve common goals. Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing 10 pounds or less without assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties requested by supervisors.
