We seek a Microsoft SQL Server Specialist holding a current MCSE: Data Platform certification to join our team of certified specialists operating Data Centers, ensuring data availability, performance, and integrity across production environments with multiple SQL Server instances and databases. **PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES** * Administer and support Microsoft SQL Server 2016, 2019, or later in production environments. * Execute database performance optimization and tuning processes. * Manage backups, restores, and disaster recovery plans (DRP). * Implement and maintain database engine access controls and security. * Perform preventive and corrective database maintenance. * Generate database system health reports and periodic audits. * Provide support to development and validation testing teams. * Monitor SQL Server instance health, capacity, and availability. **TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE** * **Experience:** Minimum 2\-3 years administering SQL Server 2016, 2019, or later in production environments * SQL Server 2016, 2019, or later — advanced administration, optimization, security, and DRP * T\-SQL — query tuning, stored procedures, indexes, and statistics * Backup and recovery using SQL Server Agent and complementary tools * IBM DB2 — basic knowledge for monitoring and reporting (desirable) * Microsoft Windows Server 2016, 2019, or later — strong server environment proficiency * **Technical English:** Intermediate\-advanced level — ability to read Microsoft documentation (mandatory) * **Work Mode:** Hybrid — availability for on-site intervention at the Data Center when required; extended-hour remote support **ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS** * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Systems, Computer Science, or related field (degree certificate and professional license required) **REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS AND ACCREDITATIONS** Proficiency in the following technologies is mandatory; any relevant certification or accreditation increases hiring chances. ***ATTENTION: MCSE: Data Platform certification is MANDATORY and must be valid at time of hire.*** * **⚠ MANDATORY — MCSE: Data Platform (Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert: Data Platform) — valid and mandatory** * MCSA: SQL Server — supplementary and valued * Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate — valued as a complement **WHAT WE OFFER?** * Hybrid work arrangement * Competitive salary commensurate with experience and profile * Performance-based bonuses * Vacation days and additional paid leave beyond statutory requirements * Ongoing training in industry tools and technologies * Modern, organized work environment with genuine growth opportunities * Exposure to dynamic operations serving clients across multiple industries * Medium-term employment contract, with potential conversion to indefinite-term based on performance * IMSS enrollment from day one Employment Type: Full-time Salary: $30,000\.00 \- $70,000\.00 per month Application Question(s): * Do you currently reside in the Mexico City Metropolitan Area?
