Technical support and structural safety supervision. **Structural Engineer – Temporary Projects** **Job Objective** Design, calculate, and validate the structural safety of temporary constructions (e.g., stages, grandstands, tents, scaffolding, modular steel structures, etc.), ensuring compliance with current regulations and safety standards through calculation reports, drawings, and technical supervision. **Main Responsibilities** * Prepare structural calculation reports for temporary constructions based on national and international standards (RCDF, NTC, AISC, ASCE, etc.). * Review and validate structural designs to ensure stability, strength, and functionality. * Generate technical drawings and construction details in coordination with the design and production departments. * Perform structural simulations (structural analysis software: SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD Pro, or similar). * Provide technical support during the assembly and disassembly of structures. * Issue structural safety reports and recommendations to optimize materials and costs. * Ensure compliance with civil safety, civil protection, and load standard regulations. * Coordinate with suppliers and supervise the correct installation of critical structural components. **Requirements:** Academic background: Civil Engineering, Architecture with structural specialization, or related field. Experience: 4 years preparing calculation reports and performing structural design, preferably for temporary constructions, large-scale events, or modular steel structures. **Technical Knowledge:** Structural analysis software (SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD Pro, Robot Structural Analysis). Applicable regulations (RCDF, NTC, ASCE, AISC, AWS, Civil Protection standards). Materials: steel, aluminum, tubular structures, and modular systems. Design of temporary foundations and anchoring systems. **Competencies:** Analytical thinking and attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure and on-site. Effective communication and teamwork.
