**Junior Database Administrator (Junior DBA)** **Position Purpose** Ensure the proper administration, monitoring, and performance optimization of the organization’s databases, guaranteeing their stability, security, and availability, in coordination with development and infrastructure teams. **Key Responsibilities** * Monitor database performance and identify bottlenecks. * Optimize queries and data structures to improve response times. * Execute periodic backups and recovery tests. * Manage replication and security configurations. * Validate and review queries generated during development. * Document procedures and report technical findings. * Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to address incidents or improvements. **Technical Knowledge:** * **PostgreSQL and MySQL** (mandatory). * MongoDB and Redis. * Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server, Amazon RDS, or AWS services is desirable. * Query optimization, indexing, and performance analysis. * Familiarity with Linux environments and monitoring tools. **Required Profile:** * Bachelor’s degree or Engineering in Systems, Computer Science, or related field. * **+2 years** administering relational databases. * Technical English **We Offer:** * Hybrid work arrangement (2 days per week in the office) * Work location: Santa Fe * Salary range up to **$25,000 net** If you meet ALL the requirements, apply through this channel!
