**Fullstack Ruby on Rails Developer – Mid-level** **UKKO | Technology** **Location:** Mexico (remote / hybrid – Monterrey) **Schedule:** Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. **Modality:** Remote (with openness to Monterrey) **Salary:** From **$25,000 MXN net** (depending on experience) **About the Role** At **UKKO**, we’re looking for a **Mid-level Fullstack Ruby on Rails Developer** with at least **3 years of experience**, who enjoys building robust, scalable, and well-optimized solutions. **Technical Requirements:** Backend – Ruby on Rails * +3 years of experience as a **Fullstack Developer**. * Proficiency in **Ruby on Rails**. * Solid experience with **Sidekiq** for asynchronous processing. * Advanced use of **Redis** integrated with Rails. * Code optimization, efficient queries, and design patterns. * **Advanced caching**: * Fragment caching * Russian Doll Caching * Low-level caching with Rails and Redis Databases – PostgreSQL * Design of efficient and normalized schemas. * SQL query optimization. * Advanced index management (BTREE, GIN, etc.). * Performance analysis using **EXPLAIN / ANALYZE**. * Experience with **large databases**. Infrastructure and Containers * Solid experience with **Docker**: * Building and optimizing images. * Development and deployment environments. * Use of **Docker Compose** (Redis, PostgreSQL, Sidekiq, etc.). Frontend * Experience with **StimulusJS** or other modern frameworks. * Proficiency in **HTML5, CSS3**, and **Bootstrap**. * Frontend performance and load-time optimization. Optimization and Scalability * Identification and resolution of **bottlenecks**. * Use of monitoring tools such as: * Sentry * New Relic * Scout * Horizontal and vertical application scalability.
