Repair cast parts by welding **Vacancy: Welder** Perform welding and/or repair work on parts or subassemblies according to drawings and technical specifications, using SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding) and FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) processes. **Main Functions and Responsibilities** * Prepare weld joints using grinders, angle grinders, or other necessary tools. * Apply welding in horizontal positions and on tables using SMAW (covered electrode) or FCAW (tubular wire) processes. * Correctly interpret welding symbols on drawings and technical specifications. * Repair cast parts through proper preparation and application of the appropriate welding process (SMAW or FCAW). * Perform cleaning, grinding, and finishing of welded parts according to quality acceptance criteria. * Perform hammer or straightedge leveling, adding material via welding or removing weight with a grinder as required. * Grind cast parts requiring flatness, such as grinding wheels and wedges. * Collaborate in other job-related activities as required by the nature of the work or department. **Requirements** * **Education:** Completed junior high school or high school diploma (welding course or certification preferred). * **Experience:** Minimum 1 year in structural or industrial maintenance welding. * **Technical Knowledge:** * SMAW and FCAW welding processes. * Interpretation of drawings and welding symbols. * Use of electric tools (grinder, angle grinder, sander). * Basic knowledge of metallurgy and industrial safety. * Use of: Tape measure, Sander, Angle grinder, Mini grinder, and Drill. **CONTRACT** Fixed-term contract Position type: Full-time, Project-based or fixed-term Contract duration: 12 months Salary: $10,000.00 - $11,000.00 per month Benefits: * Grocery vouchers Work location: On-site employment
