The Cost Engineer will play a pivotal role in evaluating and analyzing costs associated with the production of craft and decoration products. Responsibilities include determining and optimizing production costs, identifying areas for improvement, and ensuring operational efficiency and profitability. **Key Responsibilities:** **Cost Analysis:** Conduct detailed analysis of direct and indirect production costs for our products, including materials, labor, equipment, energy, and other related expenses. **Unit Cost Estimation:** Calculate the unit cost of each product, considering resource utilization and manufacturing time required. **Process Optimization:** Collaborate with production and procurement departments to identify cost-reduction opportunities, improve efficiency, and minimize waste in craft and decoration production. **Budgeting and Planning:** Participate in budget development and financial planning by providing accurate cost data and analysis to support decision-making. **Monitoring and Control:** Establish monitoring systems to continuously track production costs and ensure adherence to budgetary limits. **Reporting and Presentation:** Prepare periodic reports summarizing cost analyses, trends, and recommendations for senior management and other stakeholders. **Cross-Departmental Collaboration:** Work closely with production, procurement, engineering, and management teams to ensure effective cost management across all stages of craft and decoration production. **Requirements:**Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Cost Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 1 year of experience in cost analysis, preferably in the products industry. In-depth knowledge of costing tools and methodologies. Proficiency in management software and advanced spreadsheet applications. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. Ability to communicate effectively and present reports clearly and concisely. Commitment to continuous improvement and process optimization. Familiarity with regulations and standards related to costing and accounting is an advantage.
