The Human Resources Assistant plays both a strategic and practical role, providing Human Resources support to our Fulfillment Centers. This position is crucial for executing our workforce-related initiatives, delivering excellent service to employees, promoting functional excellence in Human Resources, and driving process improvements. Tasks vary in volume and complexity and include internal audits as well as preparing internal and external reports. They respond to inquiries on a wide range of Human Resources, benefits, and payroll topics. Additionally, they manage cases, projects, and relationships with various partners at different levels of complexity, always maintaining strict confidentiality standards. Key job responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Respond promptly and accurately to inquiries from our internal customers. * Ensure employee documentation is complete and accurate. * Serve as a subject matter expert on related topics for those needing support, escalating cases as necessary. * Provide training and guidance on policies, processes, and systems to internal customers and team members. * Create and distribute standard communications. * Conduct audits and analyze key findings. * Lead process improvement initiatives, developing suggestions to optimize resource utilization. * Other tasks and responsibilities as needed. \*\*Amazon Operations is a 24/7 work environment, so shifts may change according to business needs. For this role, full schedule availability is required, including overtime, holidays, and weekends.\*\* \#AmazonMexico**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS** ------------------------ * 6\+ months of human resources experience * 6\+ months of customer service experience * 6\+ months of Microsoft Office products and applications experience * Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications (especially Excel) * Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel * High school or equivalent * Experience in confidential environments **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS** ---------------------------- * 1\+ years of human resources experience * 1\+ years of customer service experience * 1\+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience \- Basic to intermediate English. * Experience with Human Resources ERP systems. \- Intermediate to advanced Excel. * Strong verbal communication skills. * Assertive communication. * Up-to-date knowledge of the Federal Labor Law. * Knowledge and experience with payroll concepts.
