Responsibilities: * Basic interpretation of drawings and their threading tolerances. * Basic knowledge of hand tools. * Knowledge of different types of materials. * Basic knowledge of thread charts. * Daily inspection to ensure the machine is properly lubricated. Technical Skills or Competencies: * Knowledge of drawing interpretation, symbols, and trigonometry. * Knowledge of cutting tools. * Knowledge of material types and manufacturing processes. * Basic mathematics and unit conversions. * Knowledge and use of measuring equipment, read-out operation, dexterity in part clamping, tool sharpening (drills and chisels), adjustments and tolerances, cutting speed.
