**Position Objective:** Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and occupational health regulations and policies in the metal-mechanical plant facilities by identifying and evaluating risks, implementing preventive measures, and promoting a safety culture among employees. **Main Responsibilities:** * Identify, evaluate, and control workplace risks in production, maintenance, storage, and office areas. * Implement and monitor industrial safety and hygiene programs (PPE, chemical handling, ergonomics, noise, etc.). * Coordinate evacuation drills and emergency response plans. * Manage and follow up on incidents, accidents, and occupational illnesses (root cause investigations, reporting, corrective actions). * Ensure compliance with current legal regulations regarding safety and hygiene. * Conduct periodic plant inspections and generate reports with findings and improvement recommendations. * Participate in internal and external audits related to occupational safety and health. * Deliver training sessions and workshops on safety and hygiene topics for all personnel. * Control and update safety-related documentation (logs, training records, safety data sheets, etc.). * Promote continuous improvement programs and a preventive culture throughout the organization. **General Conditions:** **Workplace:** Production plant (metal-mechanical sector) Av.
