### **Position** The Finance Manager's role will be to ensure that all accounting records are supported and reconciled, and to ensure that all closing activities are carried out correctly within the established timeframe. In addition, the manager will be responsible for reviewing the company's tax matters and will serve as the liaison between external firms and Tiffany \& Co. Accounting and Compliance * Review books and records to ensure compliance with US GAAP and local accounting standards. * Ensure local regulatory compliance in all financial, foreign exchange, tax, customs, and any other local regulations affecting business operations. * Review monthly financial statements and reports for management. * Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies and procedures requested by NY. * Supervise and coordinate external audit work (responsible for monthly and annual tax balance). * Review accounts receivable versus Palacio de Hierro and perform monthly portfolio reconciliation. * Supervise work performed by external teams (Deloitte / PWC / Moore / E\&Y). * Review all monthly reports for month-end closing: Schedules DE, J, H, and intercompany reports. * Receive and review transfer documentation, check requests, and other related documents to complete and comply with financial policies, procedures, and contractual requirements. * Approve employee expense reports received (ensuring compliance with internal policies). * Control of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable to suppliers and affiliates. * Ensure all account support documentation is complete prior to monthly closing. Projections and Estimations * Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, and other necessary financial analyses to project sales and operating profit. * Review monthly cash flow projections and work with treasury to obtain additional funding or investments. Treasury * Control and reimbursement of petty cash for all applicable stores and corporate. * Determine financing needs when necessary to request intercompany loan funds from LFB or cash pooling. * Review the company's accounts payable and receivable. Reporting \& Analysis * Provide guidance to departments and review the country plan to ensure planning figures represent the best estimate to achieve local, corporate, and regional goals. * Review and align the annual plan and forecast, including P \& L, B / S, and cash flow. * Review actual monthly expenses versus plan to control spending within budget and ensure incremental expenditures have proper approval. * Monitor planned or unplanned capital expenditures (CER) and ensure appropriate approvals. * Review foreign currency transactions to minimize foreign exchange gains/losses. Management Support * Support senior and finance management in business decisions to achieve country objectives and targets. * Review monthly financial reports and provide key financial highlights to finance management. * Prepare short-term and long-term business plans for the company's future. * Responsible for conducting relevant analyses for opening new stores.
