WE ARE LOOKING FOR AN ELECTRICAL ENGINEER **Position Objective:** Conduct studies, analysis, design, and evaluation of Medium and High Voltage power systems, ensuring electrical installations operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with technical standards. Support integration, testing, adjustment, and commissioning of equipment and systems, providing reliable technical solutions and specialized support to company projects. **Main Responsibilities:** 1\. Electrical Studies: \-Perform studies such as: \-Load flow \-Short circuit \-Protection coordination \-Motor starting \-Arc flash \-Grounding system studies \-Interpret applicable standards (NOM, IEEE, IEC, CFE) to ensure technical accuracy. \-Use specialized software (ETAP, SKM, EasyPower, or similar). 2\. Power System Design and Analysis: \-Develop single-line diagrams, calculation reports, and design criteria. \-Analyze capacity and performance of equipment such as transformers, switchgear, busbars, relays, cables, etc. \-Propose technical solutions to improve reliability, efficiency, and safety. 3\. Protection Settings and Configuration: \-Prepare and validate protection relay settings. \-Configure control logic, trip curves, and device coordination. \-Verify integration between protection systems and power equipment. 4\. Technical Support for Installations and Testing: \-Support technical review of HV/MV installations. \-Collaborate with the testing team on: \-Functional tests \-Relay parameterization \-Operation sequence verification \-Validate test results and compare them with design calculations. 5\. Technical Documentation: \-Prepare study reports with detailed analysis and conclusions. \-Create technical specifications, diagrams, drawings, and operational recommendations. \-Ensure documentation meets client requirements. 6\. Coordination with Other Departments: \-Work closely with: \-HV/MV Coordinators \-Testing Lead \-Construction and Maintenance Coordinator \-Provide technical support during construction, testing, and commissioning. \-Participate in planning and reviewing critical tasks. 7\. Customer Service and Technical Support: \-Explain study results and protection settings to clients. \-Resolve technical inquiries regarding power system operations. \-Accompany inspections, site visits, or technical reviews when necessary. 8\. Research and Continuous Improvement: \-Stay updated on industry standards, procedures, and technologies. \-Propose technical improvements or alternatives to optimize systems. \-Contribute to training for operational and project teams. 9\. Commissioning Validation: \-Support energization of electrical systems. \-Verify parameters, protections, loads, and operating conditions. \-Document results, evidence, and final observations.
