This role is critical within the API certification process, guaranteeing alignment with REST, HTTP, and service-oriented/microservices architecture standards. **REST API Design** * Domain-driven resource modeling * Correct use of HTTP methods, status codes, and headers * Idempotency, pagination, filtering, and sorting * Standardized error handling * REST and HATEOAS principles (conceptual) * Definition and validation of contracts using OpenAPI / Swagger * Contract-first / API-first design * API versioning and backward compatibility **API Security** * Authentication and authorization (OAuth 2\.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, API Keys) * Best practices for exposing internal and external APIs **API Governance and Quality** * Definition of guidelines, standards, and certification checklists * Architectural and technical review of APIs * API lifecycle governance (design, publication, deprecation) **Observability and Operations** * Logging, metrics, and traceability * Error handling and resilience * Concepts of rate limiting and throttling **Tools** * Experience with API Gateways (conceptual and technical) * Integration with CI/CD pipelines for contract validation * General knowledge of microservices architectures **What do we offer?** **Babel, the great way to achieve the success.** Do you want to join an expanding, committed, and innovative team that makes history every day?
