**Avícola Noelie** is a poultry-sector company dedicated to the production and sale of table eggs. We operate our own farms and a balanced feed plant that internally supplies feed to our laying hens, making us an integrated chain requiring efficient, strategic, and reliable procurement.
**Position Objective**
Lead the company’s procurement strategy, ensuring timely supply of inputs, raw materials, spare parts, and materials at the best possible cost. The person in this role will design and implement procurement policies and procedures, lead a direct-report purchaser, and act as a business partner with warehouse departments to make well-founded purchasing decisions.
**Key Responsibilities**
Procurement Strategy and Management:
* Define and execute the annual procurement strategy aligned with the production plan.
* Lead high-impact negotiations: framework agreements, tenders, and strategic suppliers.
* Monitor the raw materials market to anticipate price fluctuations and propose forward purchases.
* Approve and manage the roster of qualified suppliers.
Team Leadership:
* Supervise and develop a direct-report purchaser.
* Define activities, goals, and provide feedback on departmental KPI achievement.
* Delegate routine purchasing tasks, reserving strategic decisions for oneself.
Policies and Procedures:
* Design and implement procurement policies: authorization thresholds, number of quotations required, supplier selection criteria, and response time expectations.
* Identify opportunities for efficiency and cost savings within the procurement process.
Business Partner Role with Warehouses:
* Consult inventory levels at the General Warehouse and Spare Parts Warehouse to validate whether a purchase is warranted prior to issuance.
* Coordinate with the Feed Warehouse and balanced feed plant to align the raw material procurement schedule with the production plan.
(This role entails collaboration and consultation—not control or audit—of warehouse operations.)
**Candidate Profile Sought**
Education:
* Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Agribusiness, or related field.
* Preferred: Diploma or specialization in Supply Chain or Strategic Procurement.
Experience:
* 4–6 years in procurement or supply functions.
* Minimum 2 years leading procurement teams.
* Experience in agro-industrial, agricultural, or manufacturing sectors is valued.
Technical Knowledge:
* Advanced knowledge of procurement processes, negotiation, and supplier evaluation.
* ERP system proficiency.
* Advanced Excel skills.
* Basic knowledge of raw materials for balanced feed and spare parts (preferred).
Key Competencies:

* Planning, information analysis, and decision-making.
* Effective communication and integrity in supplier relationships.
**Performance Indicators (KPIs for this Position)**
* Procurement cost savings vs. reference price or approved budget.
* Raw material cost variation vs. benchmark market.
* Percentage of spend covered by active framework agreements.
* Quarterly scorecard for strategic suppliers.
* Percentage of purchase orders issued in compliance with defined process.
