Job Summary: Responsible for ensuring food safety and compliance with certifications in fruit handling, supervising processes and training staff. Key Highlights: 1. Staff training in hygiene and good practices **Objective**: Ensure that fruit at the packing facility is handled under hygienic and safe conditions, complying with applicable **food safety standards and certifications**, to prevent contamination risks and ensure the product is fit for consumption. **Required Experience:** At least 1 year in the avocado industry. **Knowledge, Capabilities, and Skills:** * Knowledge of applicable **food safety certifications** for packing facilities. * Ability to develop and implement a food safety system from scratch. * Knowledge of the process for implementing food safety systems. * Preventive approach and attention to detail. * Adaptability to change and commitment to continuous improvement. * Process organization and documentation. * Ability to work with new departments or departments undergoing startup. **Responsibilities:** * Verify compliance with food safety standards throughout the entire process. * Supervise hygiene conditions of personnel, facilities, equipment, and utensils. * Develop, update, and control food safety forms, records, and logs. * Execute and supervise cleaning and sanitization programs at the packing facility. * Prepare the packing facility for internal and external certification audits. * Train staff on hygiene, food safety, and good practices. * Propose and follow up on corrective and preventive actions. * Monitor compliance with applicable certifications and regulations. **Working Hours**: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM, Monday to Saturday Salary to be discussed during the interview. **Work Location:** Libramiento Oriente #9000, Col.
