Description and details of activities **Summary:** Ensure all relevant functions of Industrial Engineering for Plastic Molding and Welding Processes, equipment and mold maintenance. **Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:** * Support strategic planning of the unit/division by breaking down or developing strategic planning for the department within a short to medium-term timeframe. * Plan and manage the budget within their area of responsibility, cooperating with the supervisor to ensure compliance. * Develop and implement personnel planning within their area of responsibility, in cooperation with the supervisor; also ensure that staffing levels are adequate. * Provide technical and disciplinary leadership to subordinates, make personnel decisions in coordination with human resources and the supervisor. * Establish specific goals for each department, break down and prioritize departmental objectives, track progress, and evaluate goal achievement. * Manage and assume all IE division functions at the plant (e.g., application engineering, process planning and improvement, plant layout planning, etc.), implement corrective actions as needed. * Identify opportunities, formulate improvement suggestions, and ensure their implementation. Experience and requirements **Requirements** Bachelor's degree in Sciences, Electronic Engineering or Mechatronic Engineering. **3 to 5 years** of experience in: * Management of plastic molding and welding processes (products and personnel). * Plastic injection and welding machinery and equipment. * TPM maintenance (use and implementation). * Project management in the automotive sector. * CIP (Continuous Improvement Process) practices. * Application of ISO 14001:2015 and OHSAS standards. * Knowledge and application of IATF standard. * Use of problem-solving tools. * Handling of statistical tools. * Advanced English.
