The main responsibility is to support the financial Balance Sheet reporting for various Western Hemisphere entities, including operations in Latin America, the US and Canada. This position reports to the Assistant Controller as part of the groups Accounting Function. Applicant MUST be fluent (business conversational) in Spanish AND English. Resumes/CVs should be presented in English or both languages. #### **Job Responsibilities** * Job Responsibilities * Ensure accurate tracking and reconciliation of monthly Intercompany transactions across various entities. * Work closely with third party finance and accounting vendors to ensure timely completion of financial statements * Work closely with billing and customers to assure timely collection of receivables * Submit month\-end Intercompany statements for Group consolidation * Perform balance sheet reconciliations for multiple reporting companies * Maintain and update prepaid amortization schedules and accruals for insurance, leasing, and other categories * Review and posting of Journal Entries * Execute Month End close duties and report financials to the corporate office * Prepare Year End financial reports for the tax department * Conduct weekly cashflow forecasting and bank balance reporting * Facilitate loan payments to support the Treasury and Legal departments * Interface with Billing and Accounts Payable to ensure proper reporting in the ERP system * Latin America reporting for taxes paid and resolution of issues. * Manage tax reporting and issue resolution for Latin America * Support Latin America companies with compliance, statutory, and legal reporting in collaboration with the Tax and Legal departments * Act as a subject matter expert on local accounting practices in Latin America to support operations, finance, and tax management. * Review financial statements provided by local accounting firms in Latin America * Provide operational support for business activities in Latin America and coordinate with local accounting firms * Potentially supervise other finance resources in LATAM * Support finance and accounting activities related to O\&M plant mobilization in Latin America. * Contribute to special projects focusing on new processes or process improvement initiatives The above describes the general requirements for the position, but it is not an exhaustive statement of duties, responsibilities, or requirements as the business and needs evolve #### **Required Skills / Knowledge** * MUST be fluent in Spanish and English, both written and spoken * Advanced Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Office Products * Detail oriented with an Accounting background * Strong communication skills both written and verbal, and internal personal skills * Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills * Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently * Positive attitude, ability to work well and fast under pressure, exceptional customer service attitude * Ability to work independently and be self\-directed, as well as be a team player. * Ability to thrive in an ever\-changing environment * Remote work location #### **Experience** * Minimum of 5\+ years work experience in accounting, and/or corporate finance. Preferred experience in the ERP System: Microsoft Dynamics Navision.
