Area: Administration \& Finance Direct report: Director of Administration and Finance. Location: Mexico. MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE Ensure the accurate accounting recording of the company's operations, guaranteeing that financial statements faithfully reflect the economic situation. Will be responsible for accounting reconciliations, report preparation, information preparation for monthly and annual closings, as well as compliance with tax obligations and handling external audits. RESPONSIBILITIES 1\. Accounting entries * Record in the ERP all income, expense, adjustment, and provision transactions. * Reconcile accounting accounts (suppliers, customers, banks, taxes). 2\. Accounting closings and reporting * Prepare information for monthly and annual accounting closings * Reconcile accounting balances vs. management reports (e.g., cross-check with Advertmind and Treasury). * Collaborate in the preparation of balance sheets, financial statements, and reports for management. 3\. Taxes and tax compliance * Prepare and file tax returns (VAT, Income Tax, withholdings, perceptions, local taxes). 4\. Internal control and external audits * Ensure compliance with accounting policies defined by the company. 5\. Continuous improvement * Propose adjustments and improvements in accounting and administrative processes * Collaborate in the integration of management systems and automation of processes 6\. Personnel administration responsibilities * Manage vacations, hires, and terminations in People Force to send to the accounting office * Serve as contact for employees regarding payroll, pay slips, etc. * Manage hires and terminations on the People Force platform and with the accounting office * Prepare employment contracts * Support onboarding processes: welcome new employees, sign contracts, deliver computer and tools on day one 1\. Must show them the offices and give a warm welcome * Support offboarding processes: sign documents, return computer on the last day.
