**Holiday Inn Orizaba** **We are seeking a Hostess / Restaurant Cashier in Orizaba, Veracruz.** * Minimum education: High School Diploma. * Minimum of **2 years** of essential experience in the position. * Essential experience handling cash, bank terminals, invoicing, and customer service. * Availability to work required hours. * Intermediate to advanced level of English language proficiency. * Excellent customer service attitude. * Must reside in the city. **General duties and responsibilities:** **Hostess:** * Greet diners warmly and courteously. * Manage reservations and waiting lists, ensuring tables are assigned appropriately. * Seat customers at their tables, considering their preferences or special needs. * Distribute menus and, in some cases, explain promotions or daily specials. * Handle basic customer complaints or requests before referring them to the manager if necessary. **Cashier:** * Enter orders into the restaurant system. * Take room service orders in both Spanish and English. * Issue invoices for guest and customer consumption. * Perform end-of-shift cash reconciliation and closing procedures. * Handle cash and operate payment terminals. * Follow company policies, operation manuals, and procedures.
