**Your Job:**We are looking for a **Project Engineer** to lead the development of high\-speed Twinax cables (112G / 224G) and raw cable constructions. This role will manage product design, extrusion process development, tooling design, and qualification activities, ensuring performance, yield, cost, and quality targets are met. You will provide technical leadership during new product introductions, capacity expansion projects, and production troubleshooting for Molex Guadalajara and Molex Philippines. **Our Team:** You'll join the DSS Copper Solutions Business Unit \- I/O Segment, collaborating with global design centers, manufacturing operations, quality, and materials teams. Our team is focused on innovation, precision, and delivering high\-performance interconnect solutions for next\-generation applications. **What You Will Do:** * Lead new raw cable and Twinax product development from concept through volume manufacturing * Develop dielectric and foam extrusion processes for advanced Twinax designs * Design extrusion tooling and coordinate manufacturing with suppliers * Evaluate and qualify new raw materials (resins, tapes, foils, conductors) * Perform DOEs, analyze Cpk/stability, and optimize process windows * Support line speed optimization, scrap reduction, and product capability improvements * Lead verification, qualification (FOT, FSV), and safe\-launch activities for new products * Drive DFM updates, PFMEA/DFMEA development, control plans, and process documentation * Provide technical support during sample builds, extruder startups, and production trials * Lead root cause investigations on material, tooling, quality, or process issues * Create and maintain BOMs, drawings, specifications, and Material Masters in SAP * Generate engineering reports, DOE summaries, and qualification documentation **Who You Are (Basic Qualifications):** * B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent * 3\+ years in extrusion manufacturing, product/process engineering, or wire \& cable * Experience with solid/foam extrusion processes and tooling design * CAD proficiency (Creo/SolidWorks) * Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills * English proficiency **What Will Put You Ahead:** * 5\+ years in wire \& cable with coax/twinax or high\-speed interconnects * Experience with high\-frequency electrical performance (IL, RL, NEXT, impedance) * DOE, Six Sigma, and new product introduction experience * Understanding of extrusion controls, foam chemistry, and SAP **Who We Are:**As a Koch company, Molex is a globally recognized provider of electronic solutions, enabling innovation in industries ranging from automotive to healthcare.
