Professional and technical growth in an international environment **Principal SDET – Software QA P5** **Location: Mitikah** **Role Summary** We are looking for a Principal SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) to lead the design, development, and implementation of automation frameworks for a next-generation platform integrating technologies such as computer vision, machine learning, sensor fusion, and advanced vehicle event analytics engines. You will be responsible for technical leadership in automation within the QA team and hold end-to-end accountability for the quality process. This role requires solid experience in testing N-Tier applications, services, and data platforms in Agile environments, as well as strong database knowledge. **Key Responsibilities** * Design and maintain automation frameworks and tools for current and future platforms. * Plan, develop, and automate functional and data validation tests. * Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and DevOps on release planning and CI/CD strategy. * Ensure quality, performance, and reliability from early development stages. * Lead End-to-End testing strategies. * Manage defects and root cause analysis. * Mentor engineers and lead the technical vision for the assigned product. * Drive automation excellence through metrics, code reviews, and continuous improvement. * Optimize pipelines together with DevOps (parallelization, containerization, environment as code). Key Requirements * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience (13+ years in SDET or similar role). * 12+ years of professional experience in object-oriented programming. * Experience across the full development lifecycle (code reviews, version control, build, and testing). * Proficiency in Java, C#, Kotlin/Swift, and Python (tooling). * Experience with Selenium, Appium, TestNG/JUnit/xUnit, and REST Assured. * Experience in mobile testing (XCTest/XCUITest, Espresso, device farms). * Automation implementation in CI/CD (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes, Linux, Git, Maven/Gradle). * Experience designing and scaling robust automation frameworks. * Knowledge of AI/ML applied to testing and predictive analytics. * Experience working in Agile methodology. **Ideal Candidate Profile** A professional with strategic QA vision, strong technical leadership, a continuous improvement mindset, and the ability to influence design to ensure highly testable, scalable, and reliable platforms. **We Offer** * Salary: $96,000 – $100,000 gross * Benefits exceeding statutory requirements * High-impact global projects * Professional and technical growth in an international environment **How to Apply:** Apply through this channel or send your CV to: vivian.avendano@nvb.com.mx Employment Type: Full-time Salary: $96,000.00 – $106,000.00 per month Work Location: On-site
