**ARCOSA GROUP is seeking a Junior Software Developer in Iztapalapa, Mexico City** ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- **ARCOSA REFRIGERATION** A leading Mexican company proudly specializing in temperature-controlled storage, refrigeration services, and cold-chain manufacturing. WE ARE SEEKING: **SOFTWARE DEVELOPER (**100% ON-SITE POSITION**)** **RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Supporting continuous improvement of programs and systems throughout the development lifecycle * Developing new applications * Managing applications, troubleshooting issues, and performing updates * Collaborating with developers and end-user groups * Maintaining existing applications * Participating in every phase of projects **KEY CHALLENGES:** * Developing and maintaining applications in JAVA, PHP, PYTHON, and LARAVEL * Creating databases in MySQL and MariaDB * Understanding agile development methodologies * Tracking requirements * Providing system attention, support, and issue resolution **WE OFFER:** * Monthly gross salary: $20,000 MXN * Statutory benefits * Direct employment contract with the company * 1.5-hour lunch break * Necessary work equipment * Work schedule: Monday to Saturday **REQUIREMENTS:** * Degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field * Extensive experience in designing and developing software solutions (Front\-End and Back\-End) * Knowledge of frameworks and programming languages: Java, PHP, Laravel, HTML, XML, FTP, SMTP, SOAP, REST, MVC, OOP * Experience with SQL, MySQL, MariaDB/GITHUB databases * Familiarity with Responsive Web\-Design, JQuery, UX, and JSON * Solid understanding of software development methodologies * Advanced knowledge of Linux operating systems and web server administration * Experience implementing and managing web services (SOAP and REST) * English proficiency at 80% (preferred) * Residency in Mexico City (preferred) **CORE COMPETENCIES:** * Creative * Self-taught * Problem-solving oriented * Effective communicator * Analytical * Proactive **We are located 10 minutes from UAM\-Iztapalapa metro station.** **Desired education level:** Bachelor's degree (completed) **Desired experience level:** Mid-level **Departmental function:** Technology / Internet **Industry:** Warehousing and Storage *This job posting originates from Talenteca.com job board:* *https://www.talenteca.com/anuncio?j\_id\=69ebe0373000003700cb66c7\&source\=indeed*
