




**Position Objective** Lead the accounting department, ensuring the accurate preparation, analysis, and control of the company's financial information. Ensure tax compliance, integrity of accounting records, and timely delivery of reliable financial statements for decision-making. **Main Responsibilities** * Coordinate and supervise the complete accounting cycle: journal entries, reconciliations, recordings, and monthly/annual closings. * Prepare and review financial statements, variance analyses, and reports for senior management. * Ensure compliance with monthly and annual tax obligations (ISR, IVA, DIOT, withholdings, informative filings). * Implement and strengthen internal accounting and financial controls. * Manage fixed assets, depreciation, and bank reconciliations. * Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll accounting. * Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring clear reporting and well-organized documentation. * Optimize accounting processes through automation or ERP improvements. * Maintain alignment and communication with treasury, administration, procurement, human resources, and other key departments. * Ensure compliance with accounting standards (NIF) and internal policies. **Requirements** * Bachelor's degree in Public Accounting (mandatory). * Minimum of **7 years of experience in accounting** and at least **3 years in supervisory or managerial roles**. * Preferred experience in retail, consumer goods, or multi-location companies. * Solid knowledge in: * Financial Information Standards (NIF). * Monthly and annual tax filings. * Accounting closings and financial statement preparation. * Audit processes. * Advanced Excel skills. * ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsip, or similar). **Skills and Competencies** * Leadership and team management. * Planning, organization, and high attention to detail. * Financial analysis and critical thinking. * Decision-making and results orientation. * Effective communication and ability to manage multiple priorities.
