Cost Coordinator

Description

**Job Objective:** Analyze, develop, and control the cost structure of products and projects, ensuring profitability through analysis of procurement costs, operational costs, and customer selling prices, while collaborating closely with the Projects department to develop competitive and profitable commercial proposals. **Key Responsibilities:** * Analyze procurement costs for raw materials, supplies, products, and services acquired. * Develop cost structures for projects, products, and services offered to customers. * Determine profit margins and profitability by project, customer, or business line. * Prepare comparative analyses between acquisition costs and proposed selling prices. * Conduct economic viability analyses prior to submitting commercial proposals. * Collaborate with the Projects department to integrate costs, materials, labor, logistics, and associated services. * Participate in pricing strategy definition and commercial negotiations. * Analyze variances between budgeted and actual costs. * Develop financial simulations and profitability scenarios. * Monitor cost fluctuations resulting from increases in raw material prices, supplier costs, or operational expenses. * Prepare executive profitability, margin, and cost reports. * Maintain up-to-date cost databases, price lists, and financial structures. * Participate in tender processes, special quotations, and strategic projects. * Coordinate with Procurement, Sales, Operations, and Projects departments to optimize costs and margins. **Education:** Completed bachelor’s degree in: * Industrial Engineering * Business Management Engineering * Business Administration * Finance * Economics * International Trade / Business * Cost Engineering or related field **Experience:** * Minimum 2 years in cost analysis, profitability analysis, strategic procurement, or pricing. * Experience in budget preparation and cost structure development. * Preferred experience in the industrial or manufacturing sector. **Knowledge:** * Costing and financial analysis. * Pricing structures. * Profitability and commercial margins. * Budgeting and quotations. * Procurement and supplier negotiation. * Advanced Excel. * SAP (preferred). * Power BI (preferred). * Project-based costing. * Financial indicators and KPIs. **Skills:** * Numerical analysis. * Negotiation. * Strategic thinking. * Results orientation. * Planning. * Interdepartmental communication. * Decision-making. * Attention to detail. * Problem-solving. **Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):** * Gross margin per project. * Profitability per customer. * Estimated cost vs. actual cost variance. * Profit increase achieved through cost optimization. * Response time for quotation/project analysis. * Budget compliance.
