We seek people of integrity, vision, and commitment who wish to **build and uphold a business model that generates well-being for families and the region.** **Job Description** The **Accounting and Financial Controller** will be responsible for **ensuring the integrity of accounting and financial information**, implementing internal control processes, and building the financial system to support the company’s growth. This role will be pivotal in developing **auditable monthly reports, branch- and category-level budgets, expense control, and variance analysis**, directly contributing to strategic decision-making. This position combines accounting operations with analytical and strategic vision—ideal for someone who wishes to **build from scratch** the foundations of a solid, transparent, and efficient financial structure. **Working Hours:** Monday to Friday, 8:00–16:00 hrs; Saturday, 8:00–14:00 hrs. **Key Responsibilities** * Design and implement internal accounting and financial processes. * Prepare **monthly internal financial statements** and performance reports. * Develop **category- and branch-level budgets**, with deviation tracking. * Control and analyze **cash flow, profitability, and operating expenses.** * Supervise proper accounting integration of sales, invoices, and expenses. * Coordinate the **submission of journal entries, supporting documents, and bank reconciliations.** * Review and collaborate with the **external accounting firm** on tax and IMSS matters. * Participate in the **implementation of digital accounting systems** (e.g., Contpaq, Odoo, or others). * Maintain and update financial reports in **Excel or Power BI.** * Train administrative staff on accounting controls and recordkeeping. **Required Profile** * **Bachelor’s degree in Public Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance.** * **Minimum 5 years’ experience** in general accounting and financial analysis. * Knowledge of **financial statement preparation, budgeting, and cash flow management.** * Proficiency in **Excel** and experience with **administrative or accounting systems.** * Familiarity with **Power BI or other financial analysis tools is desirable.** * **Ethics, discipline, analytical thinking, and results orientation.** * Commitment to the company’s mission: **serving the community with fair pricing and sustainability.** **We Offer** * Competitive salary: **MXN $18,000–$20,000 per month.** * Statutory benefits. * Job stability and professional development opportunities. * Direct involvement in **building the company’s finance function.** **We Want to Meet You** If you are motivated to establish financial order, control, and purpose within a growing company—and wish to leave your mark on a project aiming to generate positive community impact— **we would love to meet you.** Employment Type: Full-time, Indefinite-term contract Salary: $18,000.00 – $20,000.00 per month Benefits: * Option for indefinite-term contract Education: * Completed bachelor’s degree (Preferred) Work Location: On-site employment
