RESPONSIBILITIES * Create designs, drawings, and other documents with the aid of CAD tools. * Generate material lists and manufacturing drawings for engineering products. * Identify new or improved design procedures and standards documentation. * Identify improvement opportunities for processes and products. * Perform basic design calculations. * Take responsibility for engineering activities. * Collaborate with business unit and GTEC engineers to enhance customer satisfaction and employee engagement. * Maintain close cooperation with the project team. * Follow Flowserve engineering best practices and standards. * Work with other design engineers to investigate and quickly resolve plant issues related to design or quality; document and communicate results, implement corrections, and help develop and apply permanent, cost-effective solutions. * Identify new or improved design procedures and standards documentation. * Responsible for identifying improvement opportunities for processes and products. * Provide technical support to internal and external customers. * Deliver engineering products on time. * Meet project deadlines for engineering documentation and obtain approvals on first submission. * Ensure customer satisfaction, accuracy, and timeliness of customer documentation. REQUIREMENTS * Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or closely related engineering discipline. * 5 years of related experience.
